What's
in it for you?
Nondairy
whipped topping is a highly processed food that is not nutritionally dense.
That means you don't get much nutrition bang for the calorie buck. But
by combining whipped topping with nutritionally dense foods, like tofu and fresh
fruit, you can enjoy the tastiness of the topping and good nutrition too. It's
all about balance.
Chef's
tip:
Make
a fluffy fruit surprise pie by emptying this mixture into a graham cracker crust
from the grocery store. Top with a few slices of fresh fruit, and refrigerate
for two hours.
